I really got into the plaid look over the last year and started off with one design which then led to another… which led to another… and well you get the idea. This plaid series of wedding invitations was a lot of fun to make and photograph – a great winter project.
When it comes to design, I can be indecisive at times because I love and want it all! So I decided to go with the mix & match idea where you can easily swap the plaid layouts with the different text layouts. The plaid can be any colour too, so I snuck in a purple one since purple is my favourite, if you haven’t noticed yet.
If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t forget to also check out the first post of the red Lumberjack plaid wedding invitation, designed for a creative shoot at Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna – Okanagan.
These double-sided plaid wedding invitations were printed on a matte, bright white card stock, and look great paired with a crisp white paper envelope. Adding a liner on the inside of your envelope for an extra layer of plaid would also look super cute!
